Advance the Brazilian Film Commissions
Provide assistance to the participating Film Commissions in achieving their goals of promoting locations, destinations, associated entities and audiovisual production services within their areas of responsibility;
Foster the creation of new Film Commissions in Brazil and contribute towards the improvement of the participating entities and of all of the activities it engages in;
Straighten the ties between the participating entities and the representatives of the audiovisual and the tourism sectors and all other sectors in the audiovisual economic chain.
Promote the Brazilian Allliance of Film Commissions in the international market
Actively engage in the promotion of national strategic goals with an eye to attracting international film productions and to advertise Brazil’s position as a competitive provider of locations within the international market;
Assist in the production processes as well as in the promotion of the various Brazilian regions as both locations and destinations for national, foreign and transnational film productions;
Identify, disseminate and promote the differences between the Brazilian Film Commissions in order to increase the quality and competitiveness of the national film productions in the foreign market.
Foster national public policies for the development of Tourism and Audiovisual
Work closely with the public powers by presenting them with suggestions and alternatives and by assisting in the decision-making process of policies geared towards increasing the competitiveness of Brazil in the national and international audiovisual markets;
Support the drafting and the implementation of the National Audiovisual Policy of Brazil as a factor for social and economic growth in all of the productive chain of the cinema, video and music sectors;
Promote the integration and further the relationships with governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations and private entities whose missions are similar or connected in any way to the film sector.
